Birth Doula
BIO
Over the years, I have been able to experience many different roles in birth work including: birth photographer, doula, birth assistant, midwifery student, and lactation student in home, birth center, and hospital settings. In each of these roles, my passion for the prenatal, birth, and postpartum period has grown. Each experience is so unique and I never cease to be amazed at the extraordinary strength, power, and beauty new parents exhibit; it is truly an honor to witness. I recently graduated with a Masters degree in Midwifery from Bastyr University, and am currently pursuing a Lactation Consultant certification. My hope is to provide evidence based, family centered, holistic support to each of the families I work with.
My husband and I are Nashville natives and we enjoy gardening, fixing up old houses, rock climbing, and making homemade ice cream in our spare time.
